BBBS Calgary, through the power of one to one mentorship, supports vulnerable youth in our community to ignite their potential and build a stronger community for all. Their programs match a caring volunteer mentor with a youth in need, and supports them both in a creating a life changing relationship.

Small Bits of Happiness is a company started by two teenage sisters. They are on a mission to help individuals of all ages, especially teens and pre-teens, find more happiness daily, build happy habits, and connect with parents.
Parkdale Petfest
Parkdale Petfest is a vendor style festival with over 65 vendors, makers, service providers, non-profits and tons of entertainment. It’s a pet-themed event featuring local businesses that not only celebrates our furry friends but also adds a unique cultural dimension by showcasing the diversity and creativity of our community. Through the participation of local businesses, attendees are able to do a one stop shop for all kinds of pet-themed crafts, specialty treats, clothing, decor items and so much more.

Miskanawah (meaning “many little paths” in Cree) is an Indigenous-led charitable organization, grounded in cultural traditions and teachings, and has operated in Mohkinstsis for over 35 years. Miskanawah is a multi-service organization, offering programs and services to children, youth and families in the areas of: family support, youth services, clinical and cultural mental health supports, crisis support, housing support, and cultural and ceremonial supports. Their vision is that children, youth and families thrive within a culturally responsive community.

Inn From The Cold
Inn From The Cold helps families overcome the obstacles that can lead to a cycle of homelessness — that’s what they strive to do with every family that asks Inn from the Cold for help. For over 25 years, Inn from the Cold has been helping vulnerable families find stability in times of crisis. As the largest organization in the Calgary region that is dedicated solely to families experiencing a housing crisis, they believe that a community where no child or family is homeless is possible. Good Neighbour YYC
Good Neighbour YYC – Calgary’s First pay-what-you-want thrift store and community pantry at 149 5th Avenue Southeast. This volunteer-run space is where any person or family facing income challenges or shifting situations can go for clothing, plants, food, books, and more. To donate or volunteer stop by.

Ukrainian Canadian Congress- Calgary Branch
Ukrainian Canadian Congress- Calgary Branch is an umbrella society for over 30 Ukrainian organizations that aim to help represent Ukrainian Canadians to the different levels of government, aid in Ukrainian refugee & immigrant relocations in Calgary and create engaging events for Ukrainians and non to enjoy and participate in Ukrainian culture. Right now they are seeking aid for the situation in the Ukraine.
