Drink Wine & Bake with Mariah

When Fall time rolls around, I like combat the ‘sads of summer ending’ with a little Fall baking. I was especially proud of this recipe since I used apples grown from a tree in my own backyard! (Even if you use store bought apples, this cake will still be delicious AF.)

APPLE CINNAMON SWIRL CAKE

Wet ingredients 

  • 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ Cup Butter softened 
  • 2 Eggs 
  • 1 ½ tsp Vanilla 
  • 3 Cups Apples peeled 

Dry ingredients 

  • 1 ½ Cup Flour 
  • 1 ¾ tsp Baking Powder 
  • 1 tsp ground Cinnamon 
  • 1 tsp ground Ginger 

Combine sugar, butter mix until creamy texture. Add eggs, & vanilla, fold in apples. In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients. Combine all ingredients together, mix and smooth out into a loaf pan. Bake in oven at 350 for 45 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
