Above is what Woodstock 50 should have been. A festival of love, acceptance, and live music in the sun in August in NYC featuring Jay-Z, Imagine Dragons, Black Keys, Cage the Elephant, The Killers, The Lumineers, and a whole ton more…unfortunately, this festival has never gotten a real break. The Black Keys backed out, there were permit problems, investors backing out, lawsuits, site changes, and letting go of the whole lineup…and only now…like 2 weeks out from the event, Woodstock 50 is not officially cancelled.
